West Anhui University Faculty and Students Visit CoolBaby for Industry Research and School-Enterprise Cooperation
Recently, faculty members and students from the International Trade program of the School of Economics and Management at West Anhui University visited Anhui Cool Baby Science & Technology Development Corporation for an on-site company tour and industry research activity.
As a local baby product manufacturer with long-term experience in international trade, CoolBaby welcomed the visiting teachers and students to its product showroom, where they gained a direct understanding of the company’s main baby product categories, product development concepts, and export-oriented business model.
On-Site Product Visit: Understanding Baby Products from Design to Function
During the visit, the teachers and students entered CoolBaby’s product display area and observed a variety of baby products, including baby cribs, baby playpens, bassinets, and other nursery products.
CoolBaby staff introduced the product structure, material selection, production process, and functional design of different product categories. Through close observation and on-site explanations, students were able to understand how a baby product is developed not only from the perspective of appearance and function, but also from the perspectives of user safety, market demand, manufacturing process, and export suitability.
For students majoring in International Trade, this product-based visit offered a practical opportunity to connect classroom knowledge with real manufacturing scenarios. Instead of only learning about international business through textbooks, students were able to see how product design, production capability, quality control, packaging, and market positioning are connected in a real export-oriented enterprise.
Connecting International Trade Education with Real Export Business
In addition to the product tour, CoolBaby also shared its experience in product export, overseas market development, and international trade order operations.
The discussion covered how baby products are introduced to overseas markets, how different market requirements influence product configuration, and how foreign trade orders are managed from customer communication to production coordination and delivery preparation.
By combining physical product demonstrations with business explanations, the visit helped students better understand the real workflow behind cross-border trade. For international trade students, this experience provided a clearer picture of how manufacturing companies participate in global business, how products enter overseas markets, and how foreign trade teams support the entire order process.
This type of practical learning is especially valuable for students who are preparing to enter export trade, cross-border e-commerce, international sales, supply chain coordination, or related business fields in the future.
School-Enterprise Seminar: Exploring Practical Talent Development
After the product visit, representatives from West Anhui University and CoolBaby held a special seminar focused on school-enterprise cooperation.
Both sides exchanged ideas on internship programs, practical training, talent development, and long-term cooperation mechanisms. The discussion focused on how universities and enterprises can better combine educational resources with real industry needs, helping students improve their practical understanding while also supporting enterprises in building a stronger talent pipeline.
Through this face-to-face communication, the university gained a more accurate understanding of CoolBaby’s industry characteristics, business structure, and talent needs. At the same time, CoolBaby was able to learn more about the training direction of International Trade students and explore more practical ways to support student development.
The two sides also discussed follow-up cooperation ideas, including internship and training opportunities, industry practice programs, and possible collaborative education projects.
Promoting Industry-Education Integration
This visit created a practical platform for communication between the university and the enterprise.
For students, the activity was not only a company visit, but also a chance to experience the real operation of a baby product manufacturing and export enterprise. Through product observation, business explanation, and seminar discussion, students were able to better understand how international trade knowledge is applied in actual business scenarios.
For the university, the visit helped strengthen its connection with local enterprises and provided useful industry feedback for talent cultivation. By understanding enterprise needs more directly, the school can further improve the connection between classroom teaching, practical training, and employment development.
For CoolBaby, this exchange also reflected the company’s commitment to supporting local education, talent development, and industry-education cooperation. As a manufacturing enterprise rooted in Lu’an and serving global markets, CoolBaby values cooperation with universities and hopes to contribute more practical industry resources to the training of future international trade professionals.
Building a Long-Term Cooperation Foundation
The visit laid a solid foundation for deeper cooperation between West Anhui University and CoolBaby.
Moving forward, both sides will take this exchange as an opportunity to further promote school-enterprise cooperation, integrate their respective resource advantages, and explore more practical cooperation projects in internship training, talent cultivation, and industry practice.
CoolBaby will continue to support the development of applied international trade talent by opening more channels for students to understand real manufacturing, export business, product development, and global market operations.
Through continued collaboration, the university and the enterprise aim to build a mutually beneficial partnership that supports student growth, enterprise development, and local industry upgrading.
As a baby product manufacturer focused on global markets, CoolBaby will continue to strengthen its connection with education, industry, and international trade practice, helping more young talents understand the real value of manufacturing and foreign trade in today’s global business environment.
